Slough House Is Back: Series 4 Trailer Drop

Apple TV+ has released a new trailer for Slow Horses Series 4, featuring additional scenes not included in the previous trailer that was revealed after the Series 3 finale.

The trailer opens with a suicide attack at a shopping center, which, according to the official synopsis, “unearths personal secrets and shakes the already fragile foundations of Slough House.” The villain behind the attack (Hugo Weaving) is soon seen targeting the Slough House agents. Is someone in danger? It seems so, as in the last scene, DI Emma Flyte (newcomer Ruth Bradley) asks Lamb (Gary Oldman) if he’ll consider a shower. Lamb dryly replies, “Yeah, it’s a tempting offer, but I don’t think that’s appropriate right now. I mean, apart from anything else, one of my team just died.”

Returning cast members include Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Jonathan Pryce, with Joanna Scanlan, Tom Brooke, and James Callis joining the cast as newcomers.

Slow Horses is based on Mick Herron’s Slough House novel series and was adapted for television by creator and showrunner Will Smith (Veep). The series is up for nine Emmy Awards this year, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Oldman.

Series 4 of Slow Horses premieres on Apple TV+ on September 4th, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday until October 9th.
