“Beyond Paradise” will return stronger!
Last night, “Beyond Paradise” lost the New Drama award at the National TV Awards to “Wednesday.” Honestly, I’m not sure why there wasn’t stronger support for this entirely UK-produced show that exudes such feel-good vibes. Nevertheless, the series will be making a triumphant return.
As it has been announced, there will be a second season along with a Christmas special episode.
Speaking on the NTAs red carpet last night, stars Dylan Llewellyn (PC Kelby Hartford) and Zahra Ahmadi (DS Esther Williams) were asked about potential guest stars for season 2.
While he cast doubt on any Death in Paradise crossovers, Llewellyn told media that that there will indeed be some guest stars, although he was unsure about revealing further details. Ahmadi added that there will “some cracking guest stars”. The actress also provided a glimpse of what to expect in season 2, teasing: “It’s like season one, but upgraded. Some of the episode have higher stakes. It goes into more of our characters a bit more, it goes into the backstory of our characters.”
“Beyond Paradise” season 2 is expected to premiere in February 2024, while the Christmas special will air during the holiday season!”
