“Klokkenluider” Official Trailer & Release Date (vid)
It has been quite some time since Neil Maskell’s “Klokkenluider” was eagerly anticipated for its public release, and it appears that the moment has finally arrived. Alongside the released trailer, the film is scheduled to hit UK cinemas on the 1st of September, almost a year since its premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
Jenna Coleman and Tom Burke hold the main parts alongside Amit Shah (The Hundred-Foot Journey, Last Christmas) and Sura Dohnke (Happy New Year, Colin Burstead) and Roger Evans (House Of Dragons).
Plot
Klokkenluider is the dutch word of “‘whistleblower”’. The film is a darkly funny and claustrophobic comic thriller following Ewan (Shah), a government whistleblower, and Silke (Dohnke), his forthright Flemish wife, as they are sent to a remote country house in west Belgium. Joined by two eccentric bodyguards (Burke and Evans), they await the arrival of a British journalist (Coleman).
