Films So Good

Steve Coogan appeared as a guest in the premiere episode of Rob Brydon’s new youtube show “Brydon &”. Their engaging conversation covered various subjects, including the first time they met and Steve Coogan’s live show, “Alan Partridge Live: Stratagem,” which will also be accessible on Amazon Prime.

Towards the end of the episode, Steve Coogan mentioned that people have been asking him if there will be another installment of the successful “Trip”. Shooting the last epiode, Steve felt like “the modern jazz musicians that they’re not making much of a tune, but they’re obviously have a great time”. However, he feels that they have more to express since “middle age is different from just getting old”. Rob Brydon concured and shared the response he humorously gives to the fans: “in 10 years if Steve is still alive.”

“The Trip” was broadcast as a six-episode TV series and was also edited into a feature film. Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan have embarked on four “Trips” to various destinations: United Kingdom (2010), Italy (2014), Spain (2016), and Greece (2020). All four films were directed by Michael Winterbottom. There have been rumors circulating on the internet suggesting that Ireland might be the next destination.
