The new song “Wish You The Best” of Lewis Capaldi features the legendary british actor David Bradley. Lewis reveals that the new single is a break-up song and that it was “probably the saddest song I’ve ever written”.

However, the video clip – or I would descibe it better as a short film – is even more heart-wrenching, so be prepared for potential tears. It’s the story of a mail carrier named John (played by David Bradley) and his scruffy and sweet-faced dog, Willow. Through the undeniable connection between Willow and John, the video showcases the unwavering emotional truth that a love as intense as theirs can leave a profound and enduring impact on one’s heart.

“Wish You The Best” also features Tom Lewis, star of “Redeeming Love” and “Gentleman Jack” and it’s directed by Phil Beastall.
