Perfetti sconosciuti (2016) (a.k.a. Perfect Strangers) holds the Guiness Record for the most remade movie in the history of cinema. The movie has two main advantages; firstly it concerns a very modern topic regarding technology and relationships and secondly it is very easy to be produced since it takes place almost entirely in a single room. Starting with a Greek remake in 2016, the movie had 18 remakes until 2019, but surely this number will increase, since other international versions have been announced.
